Strategic Planning is an organization’s process of defining its strategy, direction, and choices on allocations of its resources to further their ministry. At Canaan Group & Associates, we work with organizations to build both a strategic plan and a strategic financial plan to grow and direct the mission of their organization.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS TRAINING
Having a strong and engaged Board is perhaps one of the greatest assets any school, ministry, or non-profit organization can hope for. We believe strongly that leadership in giving must start from the inside out—and this belief has significant implications for Boards. CG&A has worked with numerous Boards, helping them to understand the core tenets of Biblical fundraising development and training them to lead by example.
DEVELOPMENT OFFICE ASSESSMENT
Each client engagement begins with an assessment or a strategic planning process. A CG&A assessment outlines 8-12 recommendations for improvement which becomes our roadmap for coaching and improvement for your overall development department growth and success. These recommendations are approved by you or your board and then we methodically walk through each one for the overall health of the fundraising area of your organization.
